Job description


The Technical Admin Officer will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the backend admin panel of ViaGo’s mobile platform. This role ensures smooth technical operations, manages user/admin data, monitors platform performance, and supports the operations team with real-time system insights and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities


  • Manage day-to-day operations of the app’s backend admin panel.
  • Monitor system dashboards and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Support the operations and customer service teams with data pulls, user status updates, and backend controls.
  • Liaise with developers to report bugs, suggest improvements, and implement updates.
  • Maintain records of admin activity logs and ensure backend security protocols are followed.
  • Provide basic analytics and reporting as requested

Requirements and Skills


  • 2+ years in an IT support, technical admin, or backend operations role.
  • Familiarity with mobile/web admin dashboards and basic data tools. Advantageous!
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Tech-related diploma/degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate coordination among technical teams, particularly for backend problem resolution.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and data protection regulations, especially as they pertain to backend operations.


NOTE: Applicants must reside or willing to relocate in or near Madina, Adenta, Haatso, Legon, Oyarifa, North Legon, or nearby areas.

    • Competitive Base Salary (Monthly): GHS 1,500-2,000 depending on experience and qualification.
    • Performance commission: Agreed quarterly bonus payable based on uptime, admin efficiency and task turnaround time.
